Liverpool v Chelsea
Chelsea are rightly at the top of the table, and are looking the best team in the league, Liverpool however are looking a poor version of themselves from last season. But I think the pricing on this game reflects that too drastically. Its hard to justify Chelsea being around a 11/10 shot to go and win at Anfield against a Liverpool team that rested some legs in the midweek champions league games.
£600 Liverpool 5/2
£900 Liverpool Double Chance 4/6
Manchester United v Crystal Palace
Signs of improvement for United are there for all to see, but this is a United team already struggling in defence, and now have the suspended Smalling and injured Rojo and are facing the prospect of playing a centre back partnership of Carrick and McNair, one of which isn’t a centre back, and the other one nobody has ever heard of. Palace should score here, and if Palace can contain Di Maria, and have a couple of pinches of luck there is no reason to think they can’t come away with a point or more at a big price.
£800 Palace or Draw Double Chance 5/2
Southampton v Leicester
Southampton are my favourite story in the Premier League this season, a really well run club did great business in the summer and find themselves in a great position once again. I have a soft spot for Leicester as my local club, but that doesn’t stop them from coming out really badly in my ratings. Southampton win this game, and probably win it fairly well.
£900 Southampton 4/9
£600 Southampton Half-time 5/6
£800 Southampton -1 23/20
£600 Over 2.5 Goals 4/6
£400 Over 3.5 Goals 7/4
£300 Over 4.5 Goals 4/1
West Ham V Aston Villa
I’m bitterly disappointed that my West Ham for relegation bet already has egg all over its face, and I won’t forget this one for a while! Add in the fact I backed Villa for relegation last season and narrowly missed out I’m even more bitter. Villa take another step closer to relegation 12 months later by losing this game.
£550 West Ham 8/11
£500 Sakho 1st Goalscorer 9/2
QPR v Man City
QRP are poor, but they are at least proving the last couple of weeks they are willing to battle and give everything to fend off relegation. It’s too obvious to expect City to win this by 2, 3 or even 4 goals; so I’ve gone for a half time draw. I’m not sure if it’s just in my mind, but Man City often seem to be slow starters, and I expect QRP could hold out for half time here at a fair price.
£550 HT Draw 6/4
Tottenham v Stoke
Tottenham are anything but consistent this season, and in fairness are probably quite poor, couple in the fact they were still in Greece on Friday doesn’t make this early Sunday afternoon fixture any easier. The 4/6 about Tottenham winning should be avoided at all costs.
£1000 Stoke or Draw Double Chance 6/5
Swansea v Arsenal
Arsenal, largely thanks to the excellent Alexis Sanchez, have started to look a real threat, and whilst Swansea have had an excellent start to the season, the 6/5 about Arsenal to win is a fair price. They probably should be a touch of odds on.
£1500 Arsenal 6/5
